Adventure of the day, part 1.

Hey you guys!
Today it wasn't raining so we went to Koli. It's this big Finnish place what probably is the best place where you can see the common Finnish nature (: Because of mom i remembered to take our camera with me and i tried to take as much pictures i could. There was really cold and windy, but we managed :D First we went to this Kolin portti, in English it means Koli's gate. We went to buy some candy and soda from there.

So that's us going to the Koli :D Mom, Dani and Alexi were sitting in the front seat so i didn't take pictures of them in the beginning of the trip. So the first one is my little sister Jenita, she's eleven. Then my little sister Henni, she's 14. Then my big sister Viivi, she's 19. Then me myself, i'm 16 :D And then Zach who is 20.
You may notice that Jenita and Henni has a different colored skin than i have and it's because they're not my biological sisters. We are fostering.

We also bought a puzzle for Zach's little sister, who is about 3-4 years old. The puzzle's picture is our Finland :D We went to a shop where there were plenty of souvenirs, but pretty expensive stuff.

I noticed that this post is getting really long so i'm doing this trip in two parts :D This was the first part and on the second part there will be Koli's landscape (:

Today, as you can see, i'm posting two times and there's also a reason for that. I do want to have many readers and make my blog interesting, but it's hard when i don't know what people want. So, this post's meaning was showing you guys some pictures. I don't remember what night it was, but one night there was a really beautiful sky and i just had to take some pictures of it, it was so beautiful. Although it was more beautiful in reality than in the photos, but hope they are good enough (:

Lazy day

Today we have just been inside and haven't done anything for example like, showing Zach some Finnish nature or stuff like that. We do have been teaching him Finnish card games and he has been teaching to Henni some card tricks :D This far we have taught him paskahousu, musta maija, ristiseiska (i guess) and kusetus :D And also this far he can say Kiitos, Mikä sinun nimesi on, nimeni on, pokemon on mahtava, vittu, luhta, melkein, pieni, kissa and some other random words :D

He did say that all that he wanted from this trip was to hang out with his Finnish friends, but of course we want him to get some Finnish experiences and enjoy this time his spending here. He got to see snow, taste salmiakki, learn a few Finnish card games, experience sauna, hear and see some Finnish culture, See Joensuu a little bit, Eat Finnish subway :D , Hang around in the Shopping center Iso myy in Joensuu with us and all that kinds of stuff (: I hope he's happy.

We are hoping to get to visit Koli tomorrow and show him the common Finnish nature (: I would want to go there even if we would have such a bad luck that it would be raining, but i guess nobody else would be excited about it. But if we do go there, i'll try to remember to take our camera with me and take a few pictures, so it would bring a little life on this blog :D

I'll jump on to a new subject. I've decided to teach our little baby dogs how to behave when they're inside. They shouldn't fight, jump on the couch, bite us or jump against other people. They have learned the ''sit'' command, but almost nothing else. Now, every time i see them fighting, i go between them and crab their collar and make them sit. If they're trying to bite each other or tease another, i'll gently tap them on their forehead or step on their toes. They also should learn the ''here'' command properly. Also when the other starts fighting and doesn't obey you after the first separating attempt, then the one who is still teasing the other one, will go outside. Just to let them know and understand what the rules are when you're inside. We also have to buy them some bones, otherwise they're going to eat our chairs and all that kinds of stuff. I'll try not to be too harsh on them, considering they still are puppies, only 8 months old, even though they don't look like puppies :D A really big breed called Maremmano-Abruzzese, you can Google it and see for yourself, since i have my new computer and i don't have any pictures of them. If you do want to see our baby dogs, then comment on this post that you wanna see how they look like (:

tiredness

Sorry, this will be a really short post, but it's all ready so late and i'm too tired and lazy to make a great story for you guys of my day. Well, basically all we did was went to Joensuu and on a flea market and i found three shirts that i probably will wash first and then take pictures of them, but i'll do it after Zach has gone back to Australia.

Zach also said that he thinks that Finnish language sounds pretty :D I personally don't think so, but of course that's nicer to hear than him saying it's ugly and ridiculous. We went to subway and god how i love that place ♥ ! It's just perfect. If i would have the money i would by the company and eat subway all day long :D Fuck the fitness, feel the fatness! That's what i said when we were buying candy and Zach thought it was hilarious :D

Umm, i don't think i'll have anything else to say.. except three things. First,  We have to spend tomorrow night a little more properly because today we were just sitting on the computer whole night, but we were talking to him, so it wasn't a total neglect :D Tomorrow night we'll have to play cards with him and stuff, maybe teach him a little bit of Finnish words and stuff :D You got any ideas?

Second, We are also going to koli someday on this vacation. I don't know which day or are we even going if the weather is awful. Hopefully it's not gonna be a bad weather.We're going to show Zach some Finnish nature (:

Third, About our dog. We have three dogs and one (the mother, two other are puppies) had to be taken into another family, because she's over protective and she'll scare our cows through the fences and she couldn't stand other female dogs. So she wasn't mentally okay. She was like a troublemaker. A really sweet and a nice dog to people but not to animals. She was so beautiful, the most beautiful eyes i've ever seen on a dog, but i'm glad that she's just going on to a new family and not like putted to sleep. At first, that was the solution to this problem, but then they decided to try and not put her to sleep and when we first thought that she's going to sleep away, we started crying our eyes out. It was awful. But now i'm kinda okay with this situation, of course i'm gonna miss her, but this is better for her and for us.

Umm, i guess that was all. Okay, so bye and sleep well ♥

Long and nice day

So, today has been a really long day. We woke up at 6am (mom, me & my sisters (Viivi & Henni)
First we drove to the airport to pick this guy from Australia to visit us for a week. So, we had to drive for an hour trip to Joensuu's airport from Ilomantsi and that's like an hour trip. We were at the airport at 8am something. Zach's, This Australian guy's flight should have been on Joensuu 25 past 8. And it was. Except Zach wasn't on it. We started to be really worried and frustrated to the situation, because we did the same waking-up-and-going-to-the-airport thing yesterday, on monday.
Soon we got to know about what's going on. Zach had missed his flight for 5 MINUTES. Gosh we were annoyed and him too. But gladly we got him to us finally today.
Monday's thing went like this. We woke up a little later than today. Half past 6am. Quickly we did everything and jumped on the car and started driving around half past 7am. When we got to the airport, the time was quarter to 9am. We started panicking and were wondering if he had gone wondering some where. Soon mom got this idea for Viivi to go to Facebook and see if there was anything new from him. Of course there was. His plane had broken and he had to stay in Bangkok for a day and he also lost his wallet. So, no luck was with him on his FIRST trip ever from Australia to anywhere.

We were supposed to go ice skating with him today at 12pm -1pm. But since he missed his flight he was at Joensuu 20 past 12pm, so we had to go with out him, 'cause it had cost us 80e, so we didn't want to waste it and it ended up being fun (: Sadly i didn't think of getting a camera with me.. Sorry guys :s

Today we have just been talking with him and getting to know him a little better. We went to Hesburger with him and he said that the fries are a little different but the burger was good :D Also pepper was a little ''ticker''.
We bought salmiakki for him so he could taste a little bit of Finnish food culture ;D I myself don't like salmiakki, but he said it's not bad at all. We also had sauna today and he said that in Australia they don't use sauna as a getting-yourself-clean, but they do have sauna and they go there like with clothes on! Not like a jumper or a sweat suit, but like t-shirt and shorts and then when they start to sweat, they either go to shower or swimming :D

Tomorrow i get to sleep a little longer, but i do have to be in Joensuu before 1pm. We will be taking Zach with us to Joensuu and maybe do a little shopping! Hopefully! I love flea markets. I don't know if we're all going, but at least I, Viivi, Mom, Henni and Zach are going. I have a psychologist's appointment tomorrow, but i'm not really excited about it.


So, that was all from today's, i guess. It really has been a long long day, but at least in a positive way! Also, i have to tell you about our dog tomorrow. Now it's a little too late and would just make this post a little too long what it all ready is :D Hope you don't mind.

I can't let you go, you belong in my life. I've already cried my eyes out and i can't believe this is happening. This has to be a bad dream, some kind of a nightmare.

it's a wonderful, wonderful life

Hi again (: I noticed that i have a one follower, so thank you ♥ !

So, my schoolweek started today with a new schedule and new subjects, so i don't have all the books that i should have for the classes and teachers don't really appreciate that, but what can you do :D I have three days that start 8am and end half 4 pm, so that's not nice at all but gladly the other two days are ''only'' till 2pm from 8am. My Thursday actually doesn't start until  half 10am and ends half 4pm, but still i have to go to school by the  bus that goes about half 8am, so i have to figure out how i can make the time pass. I'll go visit the dorm with Sanna if Tytti and Mara accept us :D I'll have to think about it though.

Today was a great day even though i was feeling a little down because of my face again, i can't help it, but i just don't like it. But then i just forgot about it after the morning. Everybody was nice at school and happy and all, and Johannes even came to talk to me after the school when we were waiting for our bus and that was a big surprise :D He has been talking to me in Facebook but not in school, so that was surprising.

A little about my weekend. The highlight of my weekend was that i saw a shooting star ♥ First time ever! It was really beautiful (: I hope you all who haven't seen one, will see one or many soon. I forgot to wish for something, but it doesn't matter 'cause i don't believe in those wishing things that much, but of course it would be nice that the wish could come true...
